Originally known as mandarin and a native of the far east, tangerine was brought to America in the mid-1800’s where it was renamed. It’s sweet, citrus aroma is derived through cold expression from the peel of the fruit and is a richer scent than sweet orange. Blends well with most essential oils. Tangerine is a sweet and peaceful oil which is great for lifting your spirits and calming your nerves after a stressful day. It is a wonderful oil for babies and kids. This oil is a photosensiting oil.
